Last Chance to Register for the AISWA USA Study Tour - Boston and New York - 22 September to 5 October

The purpose of this study tour is to investigate and experience a range of innovative practices in schools and how these lead to improved student outcomes and engagement in their learning.  The tour will incorporate a combination of Masterclasses with both Charles Fadel (Boston) and Yong Zhao (New York) and schools/organisation visits.  There will also be time for participants to reflect upon what is seen and how these new ideas could be implemented in their respective schools.

BornStorytellers

Born Storytellers has a new look to coincide with the release of the 2019 Creative Writing Professional Development Programs at Murdoch University. The 2019 program includes new dates for the Creative Writing PD Masterclass for ATAR English Teachers, and introduces a new program for Mastering Story Craft: A Professional Development Masterclass for Years 8-10 English Teachers, the first of which will be held in April. The PD masterclass programs are supported with follow-up incursions for schools to assist teachers in furthering their skills and knowledge teaching creative writing.
