ATAR SCIENCE WORKSHOPS

ATAR Science Workshops are being conducted again this year. The two main points on the agenda are The ATAR exam 2017 and The 2018 ATAR syllabus audit.  

Registration is essential.  AISWA member schools and non-members (government schools) please register via the AISWA PL calendar.    AISWA Catholic members and Catholic Education WA teachers please register via the CEWA PL calendar. (except for Psychology)

NEW SCHOOL COMPETITION ENCOURAGING KINDNESS

Schools across Australia and New Zealand are encouraged to take the Choose Kind Classroom Challenge and become a Certified Kind Classroom. The Choose Kind Movement is inspired by author R.J Palacio’s story WONDER, an establishedbook amongst teachers and students, and hopes to spread a positive social change across Australia and New Zealand by encouraging people to practice acts of kindness.

2018 ISDCN NATIONAL VIRTUAL DEBATING PROGRAM- EOI PROCESS |The process will close for first round offers by COB on Friday 17/11/2017

Virtual debating facilitated by Video Conferencing (VC) has proved to be very popular with schools over the last 3 years. Students and staff have benefited greatly by the variety of competitors nationally and the excellent adjudication provided through this convenient mechanism.

BELLSHAKESPEARE'S REGIONAL TEACHER MENTORSHIP 2018

Supported by the Australian Government and Teachers Mutual Bank, the Regional Teacher Mentorship offers 30 teachers from regional, rural and remote Australian primary and secondary schools a fully-funded, year-long mentorship with Bell Shakespeare. The Mentorship includes four days of Professional Learning at Bell Shakespeare HQ in Sydney, and ongoing support throughout 2018.
