    About the role


    The School Administration Officer role focuses on supporting the administrative duties of the school. The successful candidate will be highly organised and detail focussed, with excellent communication skills. Duties include:



    • Living out your faith in a Christian school community, with an attitude of hospitality, care and excellence;

    • Contributing to the holistic care and welfare of students, including providing student services;

    • Assisting with enrolments and recording data accurately;

    • Managing enquiries from students, parents, staff and the general public with kindness and professionalism;

    • Managing student attendance;

    • Performing administrative tasks, including writing emails, answering phone calls, managing the principal's calendar and assisting with school events.

    • Engaging with and learning how to use software and systems utilised in school settings, such as Google Suites and a Student Information System (Salesforce); and,

    • Maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.


     


    This full-time role (term time plus 5 extra working weeks in the holidays spread across the year) is expected to start as soon as is practicable.

Successful applicants will be practising evangelical Christians who are proven performers, able provide effective classroom support and positively complement a team environment.   Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate and work within the College’s Christian framework.     ABOUT THE ROLE


    HillSide Christian College needs cleaners for relief work on a casual basis. 


     


    During school term, shifts can be either morning (6am-8am) or afternoon (3pm-6pm) from Monday to Friday.  School vacation hours are compacted to 5.5 hours, with a morning start.  


     


    Salary is based on the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award [MA000076] at Level 1, casual rate.


     


     


    KEY EXPECTATIONS


    Provide a cleaning service that contributes to the College’s positive atmosphere, enhances the learning environment, and actively promotes a good first impression to the Community.
