    Living Waters Lutheran College is seeking passionate and talented instrumental tutors or musicians to join our growing Instrumental Music Program in 2026

    Your Role & Responsibilities:


    As a valued music tutor within our College community, you will:




    • Provide high-quality instrumental lessons, either one-on-one or in small group settings, tailored to the needs and skill levels of your students.




    • Operate as an Independent Contractor, taking responsibility for your own administration, including:




      • Scheduling and managing lesson times – lessons must follow a rotating weekly schedule to ensure students don’t consistently miss the same classroom subject.




      • Invoicing families directly (with the exception of College-supported Music scholarship students).




      • Communicating with parents regularly regarding student progress and attendance.






    • Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) – essential for working with students across both Primary and Secondary levels.




    • Liaise regularly and professionally with the Instrumental Music Program Coordinator to:




      • Plan lessons around calendar school events, timetables.




      • Submit a term-by-term lesson schedule in advance & update accordingly if any changes are made. 




      • Provide updates on student attendance, engagement, and overall progress.

    RELIEF EDUCATION ASSISTANTS - EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST 


    HillSide Christian College is seeking applications for Relief Education Assistants to fill ad hoc and short-term relief positions as they arise. Successful applicants will be practising evangelical Christians who are proven performers, able provide effective classroom support and positively complement a team environment.   Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate and work within the College’s Christian framework. All relief staff will need to accept the College’s Code of Conduct (including Statement of Faith) and all compliance requirements.


     


    Applicants should be able to demonstrate their personal faith in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour and be an active member of an evangelical Christian Church.     Previous experience (a year or more at fully registered level) in developing and delivering Teaching programs from Year 7 to Year 12 Maths (including ATAR).  We would also like to hear how you embrace teaching within a Christian perspective. 


    A Bachelor’s degree (or post grad) qualification in Education or equivalent, full TRBWA registration and a current Working with Children Card is required.

    Sports Coordinator – Basketball (full-time, ongoing) 


     


    Beyond being a suitably qualified teacher, you have proven experience in coordinating and developing sports programs. This role is a hands-on role, you will be actively involved and coordinating all aspects of the Specialist Basketball program including competitions. 


     


    Previous experience in coaching or playing elite basketball will be a valuable complement to our external coaching resources. Being able to effectively engage with students and their families is crucial to ensure their development and overall success. Our mission resonates to you personally and you are passionate about sharing life lessons beyond the court. 


     


    This role has an approximate 0.6 FTE Teaching/ 0.4 FTE coordination responsibilities. Reporting to the Head of Sport, you actively contribute to our mission by developing relationships through regular and professional communication with all stakeholders (i.e. staff, students, their parents/ guardians and external parties.) It is an expectation that the Coordinator will attend trials, practice, matches, events and other related activities in support of the program therefore a current MR driver’s license and PTD will be required.   


     


    This is a full-time ongoing position to commence at the start of the 2026 school year.
