The Kate Mullin Association (KMA) has an annual Teacher Award. The Award is for the teacher in WA who makes the greatest contribution to teaching English to Aboriginal students, and is a flagship event of the year. The winner gets $5,000. Submissions close 1 November 2017.

'Day for Daniel’ is a National Day of Action to raise awareness about child safety and protection. Parents,carers and guardians are asked to start a conversation about personal safety in the real world and in an online environment.

SCHOOL CURRICULUM AND STANDARDS AUTHORITY - 2018 ATAR EXAMINING PANELS

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) seeks applications from current and retired teachers and TAFE and university lecturers to participate in the development of the 2018 ATAR course examinations.

Positions that may be available for all examining panels are:

  • Chief examiner
  • Examiner
  • Independent reviewer
  • Paper checker.

Applications must be received no later than 5 pm on Friday, 20 October 2017.
