WAESPAA represents leaders in public school special education throughout Western Australia and represents administrators, schools, teachers and students across a range of contexts. 2018 proudly marks the 35th anniversary of WAESPAA’s inception.They are delighted to announce the 2018 Western Australian Education Support Principal and Administrators’ Association (WAESPAA) Conference, What Works: Leading Inclusive Practice to support students with disability and additional learnings needs which will be held from 23rd to 24th August 2018.

World Teachers Day Awards Panel

UNAAWA recognises outstanding teacher contributions to Global Citizenship Education. Nominations for the 2018 Awards close on 7 September.
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) inaugurated World Teachers’ Day in 1994. It commemorates the 5 October 1966 joint signing of the UNESCO/ILO Recommendation on the Status of Teachers.
