Description

With the regulatory landscape continuing to evolve, Independent schools are increasingly required to identify, respond to, and investigate allegations involving employees and, in many cases, the safety of children and young people.

Getting this right matters not only for meeting legislative and regulatory requirements but also for protecting the integrity of your member schools and the well-being of their communities.

Our training will provide participants with clear foundations for a structured approach to managing investigations from start to finish, ensuring they are prepared to handle these sensitive matters with the professionalism they demand. We invite you to join this session to assist your approach to dealing with workplace investigations.

Outcomes

  • Conduct structured, fair investigations - Equip participants with the practical skills to plan an investigation, conduct effective interviews, gather and assess evidence, and apply procedural fairness principles throughout the process.
  • Produce clear, defensible outcomes - Develop the ability to make well-reasoned findings and prepare investigation reports that meet regulatory expectations and can withstand scrutiny.
