2026 Wellbeing and Respectful Relationships Conference

 

 

AISWA is excited to present the dynamic and engaging 2026 AISWA Wellbeing and Respectful Relationships Conference, dedicated to advancing a whole-school approach to wellbeing, consent, and respectful relationships.

This conference will bring together educators, school leaders, and experts to explore how united leadership and collaborative action can create lasting cultural change within schools. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with colleagues, share insights, and learn from those leading practice across diverse educational contexts. Designed to inspire reflection and action, the program will highlight innovative approaches and practical strategies that strengthen wellbeing and respectful relationships education across school communities.

Dr Andrew Fuller

Andrew Fuller is a clinical psychologist, family therapist, author, speaker and creator of Learning Strengths™. Andrew started working in mental health crisis teams with people who were at their last hopes and that inspired him to create with people, futures they can fall in love with. His work with over 5,000 communities and with more than 500,000 young people has identified the concept of The Resilient Mindset and also the three main components of resilience- connect, protect and respect (CPR).


Dr Susan Byrne

Dr Susan Byrne is a clinical psychologist with over 30 years’ experience in research and clinical practice in the field of eating disorders. Sue has a Doctor of Philosophy from Oxford University and a PhD and Master of Psychology from the University of Western Australia (UWA). She is currently a Senior Research Scientist and Consultant Clinical Psychologist at the Western Australia Eating Disorders Outreach and Consultation Service; an Honorary Research Fellow and Professional Practice Fellow at UWA and an Adjunct Clinical Professor at Curtin University. Sue is involved in consultation, supervision, research and training with eating disorder services in both the public and private sectors. She keeps up a strong clinical focus through her private practice. In 2023 Sue was awarded the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of the significant, impactful and substantial contribution she has made to the eating disorder sector.
