IMMUNISATION REGULATIONS: Mandatory reporting of under-vaccinated children

The WA Health Department has issued an email request, to all WA Schools, for the supply of information on children in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and Pre-Primary classes whose immunisation status is either

• 'not up to date,' according to the child's Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement, or
• not known to be ‘up to date’ according to the child's AIR Immunisation History Statement, referred to as ‘unknown’ immunisation status. 

Schools are reminded that, under changes to the Public Health Regulations, the reporting of this information is a legal requirement.   If your school has not yet received this email, please contact the Health Department on 9222 2486 or immunisation@health.wa.gov.au
