Woodwork TeacherFull timeWe are looking for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic Woodwork Teacher. Selection Criteria:The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Teach Woodwork in years 7-12.
  • Have a sound understanding of the current curriculum, including the new WACE courses and the Western Australian Curriculum
  • Use a wide range of pedagogies that enhance student engagement and performance
  • Monitor student progress in accordance with School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) and School guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in interactions with other staff, students and parents
  • Work co-operatively in a team environment, and
  • Support the Christian ethos of the school

Highly desirable:

  • Qualification (Cert IV TAE) and experience in the delivery of Vocational Education and Training.
  • Vocational Education and Training Qualifications specific to the woodworking industry
