SMYL Community College is an independent, Curriculum and Re-engegement in Education school that caters specifically for young people in years 7 to 12, who have disengaged from mainstream education.The College aims to provide an inclusive and supportive learning community that offers an alternative approach to education and training for young people who are at risk of missing out on opportunities due to their home life, health and/or other issues.SMYL Community College joined Big Picture Education Australia in June 2011 to explore the framework it could provide for individualised learning, engaging students on a personal level and supporting the entire family.We are seeking a Principal for 2017.
