Occupational Therapist - Junior School
Commencing Term 3 2026
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist to join our Junior School team in a part-time, term time only (equivalent 0.51 FTE) position. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ access to and participation in learning through consultative, school-based practice.
Working closely with teachers, the Learning Support Team, and school leadership, you will play a key role in early identification of motor development needs, delivering targeted interventions, and embedding inclusive, evidence-based strategies into everyday classroom and playground environments. Your work will help foster confident, capable learners through the development of fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation, and positive engagement in school life.
The successful candidate will hold recognised Occupational Therapy qualifications and be eligible for AHPRA registration, with experience in paediatric or educational settings highly regarded.
You will bring strong knowledge of child development, sensory processing, and motor skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
This role offers the opportunity to lead small group interventions, contribute to student support planning, and deliver professional learning to staff, all within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Annualised salary package is $105,000 inclusive of super and leave loadings, pro -rated for the above FTE. In addition complimentary morning tea and lunch is provided as well as free parking, pool and gym facilities.
