ICT Support Technician

Description

We are looking for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and enthusiastic ICT Support Technician Selection Criteria:The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Resolving Level 1 & 2 technical issues
  • Install, maintain and undertake necessary upgrades of all hardware, software, operating systems and applications
  • Troubleshoot system problems and find workable solutions
  • Work with the primary client to assist in daily operational requirements 
  • Assist in the configuration and optimization of the local network servers in correspondence with Management
  • Work with the Technology Team to manage enterprise infrastructure and systems
  • Assess hardware/software needs and manage purchases through the Systems Manager
  • Conduct compliance auditing of systems and reporting
  • Utilising helpdesk software

Highly desirable:

  • Previous level 1 experience (less than 2 years) is ideal
  • IT graduate (either University or TAFE)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge with Apple MAC, iPads, Windows suite, networks
