SEDA College WA has an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Education Officer to join our team on a full-time, 12-month parental leave contract with the possibility of extension, commencing on 7 June 2022.  Your trustworthy and forward-thinking nature will be responsible for the entry, reporting and evaluation, or data relating to the student educational program and achievement. The role will include accurate data entry processes according to the requirements and scheduled set out by the Authority and governing bodies, including the use and management of systems such as SIRS, SIS, SRMS, RTP etc. The preparation of key documentation and the accurate management of the student databases and systems relating to the academic achievement is an essential part of the College function.  Please refer to Position Description for further details.

You will be joining SEDA College WA as a pivotal part of a dedicated and successful team. This is an important role, so it goes without saying that you have experience with authority and governing body systems and platforms, demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of Workplace Learning programs and demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience with the school systems including SIRS, SIS and STP. The role also requires a high level of understanding of Microsoft Office products, demonstrated keyboarding and computer skills, including knowledge of databases spreadsheets and word processing, along with a current Working With Children Card.  An application for a working with children check can be made upon successful appointment. In addition, as per the State Government mandate, the successful appointment will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.

You will have demonstrated strong organisational skills including planning and time management with an ability to prioritise and manage workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.  You will have strong interpersonal and well-developed verbal and written communication skills combined with a positive attitude as you will be a role model for our SEDA College WA core values.
