We are seeking an experienced Education Consultant, Curriculum to provide expert leadership in whole-school curriculum design and implementation across P–12, with strengths in secondary and senior secondary curriculum (WACE). The role will support school leaders and educators to develop curriculum leadership, assessment and reporting practices, apply high-impact pedagogical approaches and engage with ACARA and SCSA requirements and reforms. A key component of the role is designing and delivering engaging, evidence-informed professional learning and building networks that enhance collaboration across schools and the independent sector.
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive teaching and curriculum leadership experience across primary and secondary (WACE) settings
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum (ACARA) and WA School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA) requirements, policies and reforms.
- Demonstrated success in designing and leading curriculum-focused projects and initiatives at the school or system level.
- Expertise in contemporary and evidence-informed pedagogical approaches to teaching, learning, assessment and reporting.
- Proven ability to design and deliver engaging professional learning tailored to diverse audiences across P–12.
- Experience in supporting senior secondary curriculum, including emerging reforms and subject-specific priorities.
- Strong capacity to collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to advisory groups and build effective networks across schools and sectors.
- Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of educational technologies that enhance curriculum, assessment and pedagogy.
