Description
Many teachers are finding the development of assessment activities suitable to use as investigations difficult. This PL will provide assistance to them in this area, as well as discussing course content and other assessment types. There will be an opportunity for attendees to work collaboratively and network with their peers.
The content will be as detailed in the WA curriculum for Years 11 and 12 Biology.
The sessions will comprise discussions on what makes a good investigation and how best to write, assess and resource one as well as discussions on new areas of the syllabus and how to best teach them. There will be “hands on” activities to develop various models for classroom use.
