Singapore Immersion Tour for Heads of Primary and K-6 Curriculum Leaders – April 2027

Explore, connect and be inspired by Primary education in Singapore

Join AISWA for an immersive professional learning experience in Singapore, designed specifically for Heads of Primary and K-6 Curriculum leaders.

Singapore is internationally recognised as a leader in education, with a strong reputation for educational excellence, leadership development and evidence-informed practice. Through school visits, engagement with educational leaders and exposure to innovative approaches to teaching, learning and school improvement, participants will gain valuable insights into high-performing education systems while reflecting on how these approaches might inform and strengthen practice. Through school visits, professional conversations and cultural experiences, participants will gain new perspectives to inform their own approach to leading learning and ongoing school improvement.

What to expect

singapore 1

Participants will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of K-6 school leadership and pedagogical practices across different school contexts
  • Explore approaches to leading curriculum, across different school contexts and learning environments
  • Build/expand professional networks and collaborate with peers across AISWA schools
  • Critically reflect on current practice and identify opportunities for innovation, improvement and leadership growth
  • Develop actions plans to support the translation of learning into practice.

Throughout the tour, participants will be encouraged to consider:

What might we learn from exposure to different learning environments?
What could challenge our current thinking?
What might be adapted for our own school context?

Who should attend?

This immersion is designed for Heads of Primary and Primary Curriculum leaders with responsibility for K-6 (or K-2) within AISWA member schools who are interested in broadening their understanding of international education systems and exploring new perspectives on leadership, teaching, learning and school improvement.
