Kate Mullin Educator Award

The Kate Mullin Educator Award has been created in memory of Kate Mullin, a passionate and visionary EALD consultant who made significant improvements in the teaching of Indigenous literacy in Western Australia.  This award aims to recognise and celebrate educators who demonstrate excellence in the teaching of English to Aboriginal students. National Formative Assessment Resource Bank School Pilot Nominations | Survey open until Wednesday, 26 July

On behalf of the National Formative Assessment Resource Bank (NFARB) Steering Committee, ACARA is inviting the Independent school sector to nominate schools to participate in a short pilot program. This pilot is designed to investigate delivering existing formative classroom assessments from NSW, Victoria and QLD to teachers across Australia. Restorative Practice – The Essential Skills | Monday, 7 August

Restorative Practices WA is holding a one-day seminar on 7 August for those who work with young people in schools, community agencies, and youth programs. STEM Show and Tell (Years 10 - 12) | Saturday, 12 August - 10 am - 12 pm

STEM Show and Tell is a speed-networking event introducing students to eight different women in STEM via engaging activities specifically designed to link the science curriculum to their jobs.
