Shark Tank eSchool Program
This train the trainer teacher program has supported over 80 schools and 4,000 students Year 10 students since January 2019 to develop entrepreneurial skills and mindsets. Teachers undertake a 2 day PL program with MieLab to deliver the program, with full resources and support. Participating students may also receive RPL for two units of competency for a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation.

Kate Mullin Award
The Kate Mullin Award has been created in memory of Kate Mullin. The Award aims to recognise and celebrate educators who demonstrate excellence in the teaching of English to Aboriginal students whose first language may be Aboriginal English, an Aboriginal Language or a creole such as the Kimberley Kriol. Educators can self-nominate or be nominated by a line-manager, colleague, student or community member. The Nomination Form and Referee Statement can be downloaded from Here
Copyright for Educators Webinars 2020
Schools’ rapid transition to remote and online learning during COVID 19 has led to a huge increase for copyright advice and copyright education requests from Australian schools and teachers. In response to the increased demand, the National Copyright Unit (NCU) is offering a series of free webinars to help teachers navigate copyright while teaching during these unprecedented times.
