Teacher Professional Learning Survey

AISWA Teaching and Learning are seeking feedback on Professional Learning to better understand the needs and preferences of teachers in AISWA schools. Please take the time to share your thoughts via this 10 minute Survey. Responses will be used to inform the planning of future PL.

 

Safeguarding School Data – with a “lessons learnt” perspective

With a COVID “lessons learnt” perspective, participants will be guided on how to navigate the confusing landscape of data privacy and protection, helping them find the right balance between creating authentic, innovative learning spaces, whilst fulfilling ethical and secure data handling and management practices. Teaching Writing for all in Primary Education

Primary teachers are invited to participate in a Murdoch University research project aimed at broadening understandings about the teaching of writing in primary schools across Australia. Participation consists of completing a 15-minute anonymous web-based survey, and participants will have early access to research outputs. For further information click PDF iconHere

ATO launches new primary school resources aligned to the curriculum

Primary school teachers who are looking for high quality online resources for in-class or at- home learning might like to look at a new package that the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has released this week.
The Paying It Forward resource has been co-designed with primary school teachers, is aligned with the Australian and state curriculums, and includes 120 fun and engaging standalone activities for K-6 students in digital and printable formats. For more information please click Here  

Cleaners Day – Monday 15 June 2020

On Monday 15 June, across Australia, school cleaners will be recognised and celebrated for the incredible work they have done to keep our schools safe and clean throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
