Description

Join us for the Team Teach Level One Course, designed for staff working in low-risk settings who want to strengthen their positive behaviour support skills. This engaging training equips participants with practical strategies to de-escalate distressed behaviours using non-restrictive, respectful approaches. Attendees will explore the underlying causes of behaviours of concern, deepen their understanding of the legal framework, and learn effective verbal and non-verbal communication techniques. The course also fosters the use of a shared language and consistent methods, ensuring a unified team approach to supporting individuals. By focusing on the Team Teach values, staff will be better prepared to build positive relationships and maintain a safe, supportive environment. Ideal for anyone looking to enhance their confidence and capability in behaviour support.

While there is no onsite parking available, street parking is available along Walters Drive and surrounding streets, with a maximum fee of $5.50 per day.
