Description

Step into a dynamic day of learning and reflection with The Principal’s (Senior Leader) Dilemma, a workshop designed for school leaders navigating the complexities of modern education. This immersive experience blends practical strategies with powerful leadership theories to help leaders thrive in times of tension and transition. Participants will explore key leadership paradoxes—such as stability versus change and control versus empowerment—and learn how to apply these concepts within their school context. The program provides tools to navigate transitional challenges with confidence, strengthen decision-making in complex environments through VUCA principles, and craft a personal leadership map grounded in Transformational Leadership and Sensemaking. Through interactive discussion and reflective activities, leaders will gain clarity, resilience, and actionable strategies to lead effectively when demands are high and circumstances uncertain. This is a space to think deeply, act strategically, and lead with confidence amid complexity.

Outcomes

  • Understand and apply leadership paradoxes in school contexts.
  • Navigate transitional leadership challenges with confidence.
  • Strengthen decision-making in complex environments.
  • Develop a personal leadership map for leading in tension.
