Description
We invite you to be part of the AISWA Early Childhood Network Hubs in 2026. Choose the hub that best suits your location—metro hubs are available across Perth, and to support our regional members, Term 3 meetings will be hosted in the Mid-West and Great Southern. Each term will spotlight a key aspect of early childhood education, with Term 3 focusing on Cultural Responsiveness. Each session will include afternoon tea & networking, a school tour and a presentation.
Outcomes
- Build professional connections within regional and metropolitan early childhood education communities.
- Engage in collaborative dialogue to share insights, challenges, and innovations in early childhood practice.
- Strengthen understanding of key EYLF principles through focused term-based themes.

Melissa Kennedy (AISWA Staff)
Consultant | Early Childhood
Melissa Kennedy’s primary role is supporting Early Childhood programs at Aboriginal Independent Community Schools. Melissa is passionate and dedicated to the education profession with almost 20 years’ experience in both Independent Schools and Indigenous education. She has gained extensive experience filling many diverse roles including Early Childhood Classroom Teacher, Early Childhood Coordinator, Deputy of Teaching and Learning and Principal. Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in addition to an inherent understanding of community school education and Inquiry pedagogy.
