Description
Literacy Bites are a series of workshops focused on Literacy and hosted by experts in the field. Each session will focus on a different aspect of literacy targeted at K-6 education. Workshops are stand alone, you can attend all or one of the workshop series.
Children enter the world of literacy through their play, developing the conceptual understandings, knowledge and dispositions needed for reading and writing. This Literacy Bite will support you to name these foundations and learn how they build early reading and writing. Lisa will help you gain confidence in your intentional planning and teaching for literacy through play. The webinar will also arm you with practical ideas for creating playful literacy contexts, where children interact with each other and with rich materials, developing the solid foundation they need to become readers and writers.
