Description
Digital tools have become a readily available, powerful asset in the 21st Century classroom. Among rapid advancement and constant change, it is difficult to keep up-to-date with contemporary practice. This workshop will introduce a variety of digital tools and prompt participants to consider how they can use them to effectively meet learning goals within their classroom.
This workshop would be most beneficial to those who are seeking to broaden their repertoire of digital skills and resources. It will be appropriate for educators who have some familiarity in the use of ICT in their classroom.
As this is a hands-on workshop, participants will be need to bring their own device and be prepared to creatively explore and develop digital artifacts that can be used in their classroom.

Simon is a specialist in artificial intelligence, Technologies, digital literacy, and ICT across the curriculum. He holds a Master of Education by Research degree (Education Leadership) and is a doctoral candidate. Simon has a keen interest in educational practice and has professional experience in Australia and abroad. He has developed his expertise through work as a teacher, academic and consultant.
