Website and Technical Support Officer (0.8-1.0 FTE)

Description

AISWA is seeking the services of a talented Website and Technical Support Officer to provide support for all internal and external users of the AISWA website and to manage and maintain STEM equipment (class sets for hire).

 

This is a 0.8-1.0 FTE position, commencing mid-January 2022.

 

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in a technical 'help-desk' support role including monitoring and responding to user queries/issues related to standard website processes and features
  • Ability to identify patterns of recurrent website user issues, identify the causes, and suggest effective solutions
  • Ability to maintain accurate inventory sheets and equipment catalogues, provide technical documentation and support including preparing and checking equipment and organising repairs, if necessary
  • Good general knowledge of workplace IT systems, especially relational databases and business communications platforms. High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Essential Requirements:

  • Tertiary (post-schooling) qualifications relevant to this IT area, including TAFE, commerce, or industry certifications.
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Current National Police Clearance
