Dale Christian College is seeking a committed, passionate and adaptable STEM / Digital Technologies Teacher to join our K–12 College for a fixed-term Long Service Leave replacement across Term 3, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in developing confidence, creativity and capability in STEM and Digital Technologies.

About This Role:
STEM / Digital Technologies Teacher | Fixed-Term | Long Service Leave Replacement | Commencing Term 3, 2026
Dale Christian College is seeking a capable and committed STEM / Digital Technologies Teacher to join our College for Term 3, 2026. This position would suit a teacher who is confident in delivering engaging, practical and purposeful learning experiences across STEM / Digital Technologies.
The successful applicant will be relational, organised and purposeful, with the ability to create a positive, well-managed and engaging learning environment. The role requires a teacher who can support students to develop curiosity, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving skills and digital capability.
As a STEM / Digital Technologies Teacher, you will plan and deliver learning experiences that are practical, age-appropriate and aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and the Christian ethos of the College. You will work collaboratively with staff and contribute positively to the life and culture of the College.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, practical and well-sequenced STEM / Digital Technologies learning programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum across Year 1 to 10 classes.

Create a safe, orderly and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, collaboration, problem-solving and digital capability.

Support students in their academic, social, emotional and spiritual growth through intentional teaching, clear expectations and positive relationships.

Provide learning experiences that include opportunities for inquiry, design thinking, digital technologies, practical application and purposeful problem-solving.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, College leaders and support staff to support student learning and engagement.

Maintain positive and professional communication with students, staff and families as required.

Participate fully in staff meetings, professional learning, College events, duties and other responsibilities associated with the role.
Selection Criteria
Applicants must:

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Christian education and a willingness to support the values, ethos and mission of Dale Christian College.

Possess recognised and appropriate teaching qualifications suitable for teaching in a Western Australian school.

Hold current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia or be eligible to obtain registration or a Limited Authority to Teach.

Demonstrate the ability to teach STEM and Digital Technologies effectively.

Have the capacity to create a calm, purposeful and engaging classroom culture that supports student learning, participation and wellbeing.

Demonstrate sound skills in planning, classroom management, communication and assessment.

Work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to a Christ-centred College community.
