AISWA is seeking a talented educator to provide support, consultancy, and professional learning for the development of school leaders, teachers, and support staff in Independent schools. The role would suit an experienced leader who is looking for opportunities beyond those that can be provided within a single school to grow people and teams across a range of settings and school contexts.
This role provides a unique opportunity to provide growth and development for staff member schools. The successful candidate will take a deep dive into consultancy and change leadership to grow people and teams in a multitude of settings. This is a unique chance to broaden your experience of the range of Independent Schools within Western Australia.
This is a temporary, part-time position (0.6 FTE) that will commence in Term 1, 2023 and conclude at the end of June 2023.
Selection Criteria:
The ideal applicant will have:
- provided educational leadership through active participation in their own and others’ leadership journey/s;
- a sound working knowledge of the Australian Professional Teacher Standards and other AITSL resources;
- implemented a teaching or school improvement initiative, involving the presentation of professional learning and ongoing coaching/mentoring and support for teachers;
- worked successfully as a part of a team where you have demonstrated initiative, flexibility, organisation, and self-reliance; and
- demonstrated high-level research, written, and interpersonal skills.
