Secondary Technology and Pastoral Care Teacher

Baris Education and Culture Foundation Limited, trading as Fountain Colleges, seeks a highly motivated Secondary Technology Teacher to join our team. This full-time position (1.0 FTE) includes a Pastoral Care role. Therefore, we are particularly interested in candidates with solid experience implementing Pastoral Care activities and programs tailored to Muslim students.

Candidates with a deep understanding of Islamic Studies and a commitment to teaching students about moral values through after-school Pastoral Care programs are strongly encouraged to apply.

 

Selection Criteria:

  • Evidence of progress towards achieving Highly Accomplished teacher status, in accordance with the AITSL standards,

  • Teaching excellence and experience across Year 6-12 Technology and Technology related subjects,

  • Knowledge of best practice pedagogy,

  • The ability to deliver lessons that stimulate and engage all students, including students who are in need of extra support,

  • Experience in planning and implementing Pastoral Care programs promoting moral values,

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues,

  • Genuine acceptance and sensitivity towards students from diverse cultural backgrounds,

  • Strong written and oral communication skills,

  • Initiative and motivation to embrace new learning opportunities and tackle challenges,

  • Willingness to actively engage with students and parents through Pastoral Care programs within and beyond the school environment.
