SECONDARY TEACHERS Full-Time | Commencing January 2027 Margaret River Montessori School is seeking passionate, innovative and relationship-centred educators to join our Adolescent Program as we continue to grow our secondary school on our authentic Montessori Farm Campus in beautiful Metricup. JOB CRITERIA Our ideal candidates will demonstrate: • A deep commitment to building, nurturing and sustaining positive relationships with students, colleagues, families and the wider community. Relationship-building is a core criterion for success in this role. • A clear vision for guiding adolescents through personalised, project-based learning connected to community, industry and the real world. • Teaching qualifications in one or more secondary subject areas. Mathematics qualifications and experience will be highly regarded. • An AMI 12-18 Montessori Adolescent Guide Diploma, other Montessori training, or a willingness to undertake Montessori professional learning. • Training and/or experience within the Big Picture Education framework and the IBPLC. • Experience supporting diverse learners using strengths-based and inclusive practices. • Experience with portfolio-based assessment, exhibitions of learning and pathways planning. • Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in partnership with students, families and colleagues. • Current TRBWA registration and Working With Children Check (or the ability to obtain). • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification (or the ability to obtain). • Mandatory Reporting of Child Sexual Abuse training (or willingness to complete this training). • A demonstrated commitment to child safety, wellbeing and safeguarding practices.
