About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Primary Learning Enrichment Extension Teacher to join our team at our Meadow Springs Campus. This is a fixed term part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 2 2025 to the end of the 2025 school year. Frederick Irwin Anglican School welcomes applications from suitably qualified teachers.
Frederick Irwin Anglican School teacher salaries are generally 2.5% above the comparable Department of Education of Western Australia rates.
Classroom and Specialist Teachers
Classroom teachers are required to present purposeful educational programmes to classes allocated to them on the school timetable, and to participate in the general life of the School.
Teachers must:
- Use a diverse range of teaching methods relevant to the activities, interests etc. of the students
- Establish learning expectations for students which are clear, challenging and achievable
- Use ICT in the delivery of the teaching programme and as an administrative tool
- Build a positive relationship with each student as an individual
- Keep an open dialogue with parents as to class activities, programmes and expectations
- Attend, organise and assist with assemblies, special services, school and year level activities with the class
- Provide supervision for students who are participating in outdoor structured activities and during rostered play sessions; being able to respond in a timely manner to situations as they arise
- Work with students in whole class, small group and individual situations, accommodating learning activities at various heights depending on the age and physical needs of the students
Pastoral Care
As an Anglican School, pastoral care is extremely important at Frederick Irwin Anglican School. This is a role of the teachers who manage the supervision and welfare of the students while at school.

The successful candidate will:
- Hold current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia

- Appropriate academic qualifications
- Ability to work in a co-operative, team environment
