AISWA is seeking an experienced and highly capable professional to join our team in a pivotal role supporting independent schools across Western Australia. The Policy, Industrial and Workplace Relations Consultant will provide policy advice, consultancy services, support, and professional learning opportunities to support effective staff management.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, School Operations Support.
The successful candidate will have:

Demonstrated leadership in policy development, governance, and compliance within education settings.

Strong knowledge of the Western Australian Industrial Relations system and the Fair Work framework.

Understanding of State and National Legislation, WA Registration Standards, Child Safe and privacy obligations, and school governance practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in school or educational settings, with a commitment to culturally responsive practice.

The ability to deliver engaging and relevant professional learning to diverse audiences.

Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

A relevant degree in Industrial Relations or Law.
