Part-time 0.4FTE, fixed term, term-time only position with the possibility of ongoing work. 

Commencing mid-August 2026

Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school.  Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast. 

The Hale School Music Department is a busy, vibrant and positive environment responsible for the exceptional delivery of the Hale School Music program. The Music Administration Assistant provides highly professional administrative and communications support to the Director of Music and Music Department and contributes to the effective management and coordination of the program. They will also work collaboratively with various school departments to provide proactive, efficient, and high-quality support. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the coordination and deliver of Music Events & Music Festivals

  • Coordinate the process, communication and scheduling for Music Scholarships

  • Provide communications and administrative support for the Hale School Music Supporters’ Group

  • Maintain a welcoming and professional reception environment for the department

The successful applicant will have:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a school environment

  • Be proficient in the Microsoft product suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • High level communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly and welcoming personality

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise duties

  • Current Working with Children clearance (or to be obtained prior to employment).
