Lance Holt School is seeking an outstanding educator to join us in Term 2 2023.
Lance Holt School is a small independent school catering for children from Pre-kindergarten to Year 6. We are looking for a creative and innovative teacher to lead a combined Year 1/2 class. You will be supported by a .5 co-teacher. Students are at the centre of learning at Lance Holt School. We know our learners, and offer a curriculum that is dynamic, exciting, rewarding and responsive to our student’s needs, capabilities and interests. We know that children learn best when they feel encouraged, supported and connected. That’s why underpinning all of our programs, lessons and activities is an emphasis on school connectedness.
The position requires a teacher who can inspire children by providing exciting opportunities for learning. A thorough knowledge of play pedagogy and the Years 1 and 2 curriculum, an excellent understanding of individualised and small group learning, and an ability to work in close collaboration with another staff member is essential, as is a willingness to share ideas and bring creative perspectives to this partnership, and to the staff as a whole.
