Learning Support Teacher 2026

Yallingup Steiner School is a well-established part of the Yallingup community with a vibrant and supportive community of teachers and parents. It provides an Early Childhood and Primary School Steiner education, from Playgroup to Class 6.

We have a fixed-term position available in 2026 for a Learning Support Teacher at .4 FTE and invite applications from suitable applicants wishing to be considered for the role.

Suitable applicants will:

• Hold appropriate qualifications in Education, be registered with the Teachers Registration Board of WA and have current WWC clearance.
• Collaborate with teachers, Education Facilitator and Wellbeing Officer to identify and provide learning support that is aligned with the principles of Steiner Education.
• Have a warm, approachable manner and flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of children.
• Have an understanding of learning disabilities and providing individualised programs to meet children's needs.
• Be familiar with the reporting and administrative requirements of inclusive education.
