Santa Maria College is a leading Catholic girls' school, founded by the Sisters of Mercy with 1,300 students in Years 5-12 including 150 boarders.

We are seeking an exceptional Home Economics Teacher. The successful applicant will join a dynamic team committed to providing outstanding opportunities for their students.

This position is a part time (approximately 0.8FTE) ongoing, commencing in Term 1, 2026

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to our Catholic faith and our Mercy values

  • Passion, experience and ability to teach Home Economics including Foods and Textiles.

  • Exemplary curriculum knowledge

  • Capacity for innovative, engaging teaching and learning

  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents

  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills

  • Highly developed ICT skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Appropriate teacher qualifications

  • Eligibility for teacher registration in Western Australia

  • Working With Children Check
