Peter Moyes Anglican Community School is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative educator to join our School as the Head of Secondary School for Years 7-12.
This Executive position is responsible for the day to day workings of the Secondary School. It is both a strategic and operational role that integrates transformational leadership, innovation, staff development, research, pastoral care, pedagogy and curriculum.
The role requires leadership of staff and students and the ongoing promotion of a positive school environment and culture through collaborative relationships with staff, students and families.
The Head of Secondary reports to the Principal and directs the work of the Dean of Teaching and Learning (7-12) and the Dean of Students (7-12), who along with the Head of Operations, form the Secondary School Leadership Team.
Commencing in January 2025, this appointment is full time position (1.0 FTE) with a teaching load up to 0.2 FTE. The initial appointment would be for a period of 5 years. Salary information will be shared upon request.
This role would suit an existing school leader or current Head of Department or Pastoral Leader who is ready to transition to a senior leadership role.
