Fixed term position commencing Semester 2 2024
Hale School is Western Australia's oldest independent boys' school. Located in the suburb of Wembley Downs, the current campus is situated on a magnificent 48 hectare site, approximately 13 kilometres to the north-west of Perth and two kilometres from the coast.
Hale School is seeking applications from enthusiastic, experienced and well-qualified professionals for the position of English Teacher for 2024.
The successful applicant will:
- be expected to teach English in the Senior School, which could include Years 8 – 10 English, Year 11 and 12 English (ATAR and/or General) and Year 11 and 12 Literature (ATAR)
- be familiar with the Western Australian Curriculum
- have an understanding of, and empathy for, the learning needs and social, emotional and spiritual development of boys
- have a firm commitment to independent schooling and a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican traditions
- hold appropriate academic and teaching qualifications
- have current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia, or be eligible for registration
- have a current Working with Children (WWC) check.
