Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? Do you thrive in a nurturing, faith-based environment? South Coast Baptist College's Childcare Centre is looking for a dedicated Certificate IV in OSHC Qualified Childcare Educator to join our vibrant team!
As a Certificate IV in OSHC Qualified Childcare Educator at South Coast Baptist College, you will:
- Provide education and care consistent with South Coast Baptist College's beliefs and values.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for children, families, and team members.
- Assist in delivering high-quality education programs and practices.
- Develop strong, supportive connections with children and their families.
- Work effectively with colleagues to achieve the highest standard of care and education.
- Actively contribute to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.
Position Requirements:
- Approved ACECQA Certificate IV in OSHC or equivalent, First Aid qualification, and Child Protection certification.
- Demonstrated experience in an approved education and care service.
- Understanding of National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and the Reggio Emilia Approach.
- Strong leadership abilities, proficient computer skills, and effective communication skills.
Essential Criteria:
- To have a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
- To actively be a part of a Church or Christian community and exemplify Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices.
- To accept the College’s Statement of Faith.
- Build co-operative and supportive relationships with the board, principal, staff, students and parents.
- Work to ensure personal best practice.
- Ensure that decision making is based on fact and is impartial and fair.
- Model the use of appropriate and proper channels of communication.
- Always act in the best interest of the College and its ethos.
- Adhering to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC.
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
- Working With Children Card.
