Accounts Payable and Payroll Officer

AISWA is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable and Payroll Officer to work on a full-time basis at the offices located in Osborne Park (parking provided).  The role will commence in early January 2022. 
 
The successful candidate will have relevant Business qualifications in accounting or finance (minimum Cert IV), with high regard to candidates with a Diploma or Degree.
 
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Payroll processing (monthly) for approx. 80 staff and associated statutory payments
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
  • Supplier and credit card reconciliations and payments through online banking
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General Ledger journals 
  • Monitoring program budgets against actual expenditure
  • Maintain Accounts files and ensure documentation control is followed
  • Support with the annual audit
  • Ad hoc accounts department tasks as required
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Business qualification
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • MYOB experience is preferred
  • Experience in Employment Hero and Expense Manager highly regarded
Essential Requirements:
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Australian Government issued digital COVID-19 vaccination status certificate (from the commencement of the 2022 school year, AISWA staff are required to be double-vaccinated or have been granted a valid exemption)
