Description
The Consent and Respectful Relationships Education and Wellbeing Pilot School initiative has been designed to support AISWA Member Schools. The vision of the initiative is to facilitate the delivery of evidence-based and age-appropriate wellbeing, consent and respectful relationships education for Independent schools in Western Australia.
This initiative will empower children and young people with the skills and attitudes to build and maintain healthy, equal and safe relationships throughout their lives, and focus on their wellbeing.
The initiative fosters collaboration with academics, experts and participating schools through conferences, symposiums, consultancies, webinars, masterclasses, discussions and professional learning. AISWA welcomes the opportunity to partner with independent schools to co-create a pathway that enables all children and young people to thrive.
This is a closed event. Only approved Pilot School project participants may participate.
Outcomes
- Throughout the initiative, schools will be supported through an implementation process to establish new, or strengthen existing, whole-school approaches for monitoring and developing student mental health and wellbeing and CRRE education unique to their community.
- A whole-school approach will be constructed to plan, implement, support and sustain Consent and Respectful Relationships Education and Wellbeing strategies and practices within the school community.
- The overall aim of the CRRE and Wellbeing Pilot School initiative is to Embed, Promote, Build and Support our schools in the delivery and education of CRRE and Wellbeing Education.
