Description

This Chair Connect session will provide School Chairs with an opportunity to connect, share insights and explore current matters affecting Independent Schools. I will provide an overview of key sector developments, followed by a presentation from Grange Insurance Solutions on emerging risks in schools, including safety and workplace considerations. The session will address evolving governance issues, including emerging risks, social media considerations and school safety - ensuring a fresh and engaging discussion rather than a review of routine compliance topics.

Nibbles and drinks will be provided, ensuring a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for networking and conversation.

For those unable to attend in person, the session will be livestreamed via Microsoft Teams, enabling Chairs from regional or distant locations to participate. While online attendance is available, in-person participation is strongly encouraged, as it offers the richest networking opportunities and direct engagement with colleagues. Should you be interested in joining this event remotely, please reach out to efreestone@ais.wa.edu.au
