Visual Arts Network Day

Description

An opportunity for teachers of Visual Arts to meet and discuss current issues pertaining to the Visual Arts courses, to share resources and ideas, and to engage in professional learning.

This networking session is conducted in conjunction with Catholic Education WA. The day is designed for teachers who are currently teaching Visual Arts in Years 11 and/or 12, with ideas also applicable to those teaching in Years 7-10.

The agenda for the day is being finalised and is likely to include:

• Workshop with Will Huntley 
• An overview of the syllabuses, and discussion on the pedagogical practices for developing excellence within the learning environment.
• Discussion of materials / resources / strategies developed by in response to the WA curriculum K-10 and Year 11 and 12 syllabus. 
• There will be an opportunity to share resources and discuss the preparation for the EST.
