This Term 4 meeting is an opportunity for AISWA Primary Leaders in the Great Southern region to meet and discuss teaching and learning matters in a collegiate forum.
The purpose of this network meeting is to:
- Identify and discuss any recent Curriculum Updates
- review and share aspects of our school Assessment Policies, ahead of Term 4 Reporting
- Share ideas about Learning Spaces and hear a presentation from our host school about their building program Unpack some relevant AITSL Leadership tools and resources and discuss 2021 PL initiatives and specal projects
- invite primary leaders to the APLN online forum to continue conversations and sharing - via a Closed Facebook Group - please request to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/AISWAprimaryleaders

Maree Whiteley (AISWA Staff)
Teaching And Learning Consultant
Maree Whiteley works with teachers and curriculum leaders to bring innovative and practical pedagogies into the classroom, through special projects and whole-school planning. Currently working as an AISWA Consultant in the Primary Teaching and Learning area, with specific expertise within the Humanities and Social Sciences Learning Area, this gives Maree the perfect platform to go beyond the curriculum, exploring areas of global imperatives for our young people, such as ethical and humanitarian issues, critical thinking and cultural competence. Maree continues to enjoy sharing her experience, knowledge and expertise with others in workshops, conferences and in online forums.
