Teaching Reading Using the Big Six K-2

Description

This is a three day professional learning opportunity to support teachers in the K- 2 area and it is expected that teachers registering for this PL will attend all three days.

Research shows that effective teaching of reading includes explicit instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, comprehension as well as methods to improve fluency, vocabulary development and oral language. Come and experience rich PL where all six are explored.
