Description
Join us for an innovative, hands-on full-day workshop dedicated to strengthening oral language and early literacy in early childhood settings. Grounded in the EYLF V2.0 Principles and Practices, the session celebrates children’s diverse funds of knowledge and highlights how intentional, language-rich experiences can be embedded across indoor and outdoor environments. Participants will explore fresh, practical strategies that build vocabulary, support meaningful conversations, and promote early comprehension through play and everyday interactions. With guest speaker Di McLean from Teach, Speak, Hear, the workshop will also unpack common oral language difficulties and provide practical tools to support all learners, including those who may require additional scaffolding. Expect a playful, interactive day filled with inspiration, reflection, and ready-to-use resources to take back to your classroom and apply immediately.
