Description

This two day Masterclass will explore ways to frame new approaches to learning and assessment design which support the measurement, warranting and credentialing of capabilities. School’s may consider attending to boost their school’s approach to assessing and recognising capabilities and creating learner profiles.

Aimed at school teams consisting of leaders, department heads and teachers (schools may send up to four staff), the work of the Assessment Research Centre (ARC) at the University of Melbourne with first mover schools in the New Metrics will be explored. There will be a deep dive into the ARC’s approach to assessment, recognition and credentialing of learning, as well as opportunities to explore resources and technology to support this work. Throughout the Masterclass, schools are invited to assess their readiness to continue with this work in 2023.

Schools must first submit an Expression of Interest for this event before registering staff (click on the ARC Flyer final.PDF). If you have any questions please contact Kris Stafford kstafford@ais.wa.edu.au or on 0437 609 791.

- Please see attached EOI

- Schools will be invoiced afterward and can register up to 4 staff at $1250 per school
