Secondary English Network Day

Description

This Network Day is an opportunity for HOLAs and other interested teachers to meet and discuss current issues in the teaching of Secondary English, share resources and ideas, and engage in professional learning.

This networking session is conducted in conjunction with Catholic Education WA.

10.00am   Informal Sharing

10:30am   MORNING TEA

11.00am   Guest speaker: Dr Sky Croeser (Curtin University)

12.00pm   Discussion

12.30pm   LUNCH

1.15pm     Review of the Australian Curriculum – Presenter: John Crooks (CEWA)

2.00pm     Teacher presentations

2.30pm     Sharing of activity ideas and resources in specific learning area/course groups

3.15pm     Future Professional Learning Discussion and Evaluation

3.30pm     Close
