Don't let recent legislative changes catch your school off guard! In direct response to new legislation amendments and the most pressing areas of concern flagged in recent school visits, we've completely updated our program. Join us for a full day featuring four targeted sessions designed to arm you with the latest information and critical compliance requirements. Return to your school not just informed but equipped to navigate the current landscape with confidence.

Registration Update – Adrian Scott, School Operations Support Manager, AISWA
This session is dedicated to preparing you for your next Non-Government School Regulator (NGSR) registration visit. Adrian will offer crucial guidance on preparing your mandatory submission and detail the latest areas of focus that the Regulator is prioritizing during campus visits. His presentation will synthesize official NGSR requirements with valuable insights gleaned from his work with many of our schools, providing you with confident and comprehensive preparation advice.

The place for AI in your School – Simon Fittock, Technologies Consultant, AISWA
AI isn't coming—it's here, making a significant impact on teaching and learning across our schools. Simon will lead a timely discussion, moving beyond hype to explore the immediate opportunities AI offers. Crucially, he'll also identify the key ethical and operational pitfalls you must understand to safely and effectively navigate the inevitable place for AI in your school.

Privacy Act Update – Jane Schwazinger – Policy, Industrial and Workplace Consultant, AISWA
Following the major update to the Privacy Act this year, schools are facing significant changes impacting various policy and operational areas, reflected in a substantial increase in recent queries. Jane has developed a detailed guide to assist our schools. This session will highlight the key legislative shifts and discuss practical scenarios to equip you with the knowledge needed to pre-emptively address compliance pitfalls in this critical area.

Fostering a strong relationship with your Board – Glenn Bergsma, Chair Alta-1 and Governance Consultant, Aaron Gregory, CEO Alta-1, Adrian Scott, AISWA
While we often guide board chairs and members on supporting their principal, this session shifts the focus entirely.
