Description
This day is a networking opportunity for teachers of Primary Visual Arts. It will include practical workshops, as well as discussion on key issues surrounding teaching and assessment.
A day for teachers of Visual Art in the primary years to come together and share practice.
This day will give teachers the opportunity to invigorate their practice, and experiment with a variety of techniques to take back to their Arts classrooms.
The agenda will include:
Exploration of new materials from SCSA
Feedback from moderation
Stamp carving workshop
Oxlades workshop
Sharing practice
Please bring any current tasks to facilitate discussion.

Teaching And Learning Consultant - The Arts
Karen LeRaye started her role at AISWA in 2016. She has taught Drama, Dance, and English at secondary schools in both Western Australia and South Australia, as well as Dance in an early childhood context in Canada. She has extensive experience in the performing arts, choreographing and directing for a number of school productions and performing arts festivals. Karen is passionate about Arts education and helping teachers develop quality Arts programs.
