Description
Place Value is one of the important big ideas in Mathematics to understand well. In this hands-on workshop, we will use materials, such as cards and dice, to develop a better understanding for the aspects of place value.
There will be a focus on place value renaming skills using a variety of games. The workshop will provide participants with a Place Value Yearly Planner, a "Playing with Place Value" book and will showcase some assessment ideas.
